How to care for and send us your flowers/memorabilia

It is important to ensure that you send us fresh flowers and any memorabilia within 3 days of the occasion to ensure that they are in the best possible condition when they arrive at Jellybrations.

Caring for your flowers after your Occasion

Keep your flowers somewhere cool and dry.

Wrap wet kitchen roll around the stalks and cover with a plastic bag.

Do not spray your flowers with water.

You can put your flowers in a fridge as long as there is space around them.

Do not put your flowers in a freezer.

If your flowers have an oasis in the handle you can pour a little water onto the oasis to keep it moist. Try not to splash your flowers.

Packaging your flowers/memorabilia

  • You will need a sturdy cardboard box to put your flowers in – slightly larger than your arrangement.
  • Remove the plastic handle if you wish to keep it.
  • Label flowers if sending more than one eg corsages etc
  • Carefully wrap fragile memorabilia with bubble wrap.
  • Arrange the flowers into the box facing upwards.
  • Arrange memorabilia around the flowers.
  • Carefully surround flowers with crumbled up tissue paper, newspaper, kitchen roll or toilet paper to prevent much movement during transportation.
  • Please write your maiden name and married name and contact details on a piece of paper and place it in the box so that we know who the flowers belongs to.
  • If sending a cheque make the cheque payable to Jellybrations and send it in the box together with the completed order form.
  • Close and seal the box.
  • Clearly address the box to Jellybrations, Barkby Lodge, 60 Barkby Lane, Barkby, Leicestershire LE7 2BB.
  • Write ‘fragile fresh flowers’ on the box .
  • If posting your package with the post office please ask for overnight delivery to be delivered by 12 noon.
  • If having your package collected ensure that it is left at the designated place you have booked in and at the correct time and date.
